I don’t normally give reviews but in this case David Eastway and team have earned our highest recommendation.
Our relationship with David began when we were working away from Sydney for a long-term contract, and having left our house in Sydney vacant for some time, chose to rent it. We came back during one Christmas holiday, frantically cleaned everything out, but eventually ran out of time so that – whilst vacant – the house needed a fair bit of love and care to get ready for rent. David met us at the property and I was initially sceptical, this good looking guy in a very sharp suit meeting us in our slightly run-down property, but he was an absolute champion, very humble and genuine. He gave us solid advice, made available the help of his extended team, and we basically gave him the house keys and went back to Melbourne, just simply trusting him with the whole process. That trust was very well placed; not only did they help us get the property into great shape, but they found us fantastic tenants, and helped deal with all the little issues that crop up from time to time when renting out a property. It really was truly painless, and a huge comfort knowing that they were managing things for us while we were away.
The time came for us to sell that property and we never had any doubt who to ask to help market it for us. Once again, David gave not only excellent advice but his whole sales team managed the entire process for us: inspections, staging, clearing, marketing, and just very solid advice and excellent communication throughout the whole process. Their fees were very reasonable, and in the end we were able to sell our property for slightly more than we expected, in a very short time frame. Again; this whole process was done while we were away from Sydney, and simply knowing that we could rely on David and his team to look after us was a huge relief.
